The Gulf Shores High School Color Guard is a group of students who perform with the school's marching band. Color guard members use flags and dance to interpret the music played by the band, adding a visual element to the overall performance. The guard is known for its energetic and creative performances. The group participates in competitions, parades, and other events throughout the year, showcasing their skills and talents. To become a member of the Gulf Shores High School Color Guard, students typically audition during the summer or early fall. Previous experience in dance or color guard is usually helpful, but not required.
